With the partnership of the Ecole d’Art d’Aix-en-Provence and the TCP Web TV of the Université de Provence.
This year, the Debate focuses on editing: from film to digital. It is the occasion for all kinds of audience – amateur, professional and neophyte – to plunge into the very last step, this inevitable passage that Fellini used to call the operating room : editing. Or better, “the editings”, because apart from the cinematographic genre (fiction, documentary, experimental, etc.) and from the style of the editor, technological evolutions also marked the anticamera, the antechamber where all the promises of a film are waiting.
Pour parler de leurs expériences, échanger avec le public, nous accueillons trois professionnels de la région :
Denis Cartet - Cinéaste, auteur, fondateur de la structure Digital Borax
Agathe Dreyfus - Chef monteuse, co-fondatrice du collectif 360° en même plus
Mariette Gutherz - Chef monteuse
Débat animé par Chrystophe Pasquet.
En parallèle de ces discussions, deux monteurs vont pratiquer en direct, à partir des mêmes images, proposant ainsi deux approches différentes pour illustrer toute la richesse du montage :

Cette table ronde est réalisée en partenariat avec l’Ecole Supérieure d’Art d’Aix-en-Provence et la Télé Campus Provence, webtv de l’Université de Provence.

From 5 to 8 december, you'll meet people who make the Festival. A good opportunity for the audience to discuss with directors, producers, curators, jury, and buyers. Meeting themes will be announced at the Information Desk of the Festival.
